Actually they can hack servers. Some clients have features such as.crash (might be patched) or /DDoS (also might be patched). These features as one could speculate, crash the server, or send a denial of service attack against it, overloading it with useless data. Hacking clients are made and used by malicious users, hoping to ruin someone's day and possibly gain something out of it. What makes you think they wouldn't have put some hidden malware within the download or client? Also I have to ask, why are you trying to ruin someone's day yourself? Do you have any morals?
